INRODUCING.."PHOBIA"

After the long silence, Pow Chavez now releases "Phobia." a song about people who are afraid to love and a song about people who doesn't want to get hurt, but is on the brink of falling in love again. Which is the reason why, of all titles, it has been named as such.

For almost the rest of Pow's life, music has been a p...art of this artist's system, every single day, it's impossible for this person not to at least hum even a few notes or listen to a song. It's been a passion that keeps Pow sane and afloat in life, being an avenue of releasing inner emotions and creativity, music has brought out the best in this performer.

Started of from being a solo singer representing their school a few times before, to singing in small bars then being a vocalist in an RnB/Hip-hop acoustic band, to trying to penetrate the mainstream music industry joining ABC 5's (now TV5) first and only season of Philippine Idol in 2006 (and proudly landing 5th out of 40,000 hopefuls), to going into hibernation and now coming back with the only band this vocalist has ever had, JOINT, not only as a singer, but also as a songwriter.

In Pow's quest to spread the music, with the help of the FlipMusic family, this hyperactive person now offers the first-ever ballad this artist has written. Composed of 3 verses done a few years back, it only evolved as a full song early this year with the help of BoJam's expertise in producing great music that made Pow able to release all the creativity in completing its lyrics and coming up with the best melody that will make the people feel the emotions overflowing from the singer.

This song goes out as our Christmas gift, especially to all Pow's family, friends and co-artists/musicians who has trusted and appreciated what the artist loves doing, that is singing for the people, while sharing the happiness and the love felt in this passion we call MUSIC.
